Mollie & Alfie’s wedding at Manchester Hall & Big Trip Brewery
Mollie & Alfie’s Manchester wedding was a dream! Morning preparations took place in an actual bridal shop (shout out to the amazing Jean Jackson couture!) which made for the most perfect light and airy backdrop for bridal portraits of Mollie.
The ceremony took place in the beautiful Manchester Hall which is one of my favourite city centre venues. The ceremony room has the most amazing light and is full of character and there’s endless opportunities for photographs inside and outside the Hall including the rooftop and on Bridge Street.
Mollie & Alfie then had their relaxed reception at their friend’s brewery Big Trip Brewing where there was lots of excellent beer, disco balls and amazing vegan food by Wholesome Junkies. Breweries always make excellent party venues!

Describe the proposal!: At home just the two of us, we had got ready to go out for a friends birthday lunch and I came upstairs to him playing a song that we both love and down on one knee. Very cute!
What is special about your venue?: Our ceremony is at Manchester hall is beautiful and traditional, plus it’s opposite Mojos (where we had our engagement party). Our reception is at a microbrewery in Ancoats owned by a family friend as we really wanted a non traditional, relaxed, party vibe for the evening.
Any details of note about your big day?: We’ve been very fortunate to have a lots of friends and family that work in wedding related industries. So most of the wedding décor/outfits/jewellery/makeup has been made or arranged by someone we care about which has felt very special.
