Kate & Alex’s wedding at Leeds Civic Hall

I had a great time photographing Kate & Alex’s small wedding at Leeds Civic Hall. I think one of the silver linings of the last year or so, is that more couples are doing weddings their way! For example, Kate & Alex decided to spend the morning of their wedding together. Once they were both ready they had a first look together, which was lovely to photograph, before having a quiet moment and a glass of champagne. Then we met the rest of the wedding guests and all walked to Leeds Civic Hall together! Afterwards we had a few photographs in Leeds city centre (city weddings are some of my favourite locations for photos!) before heading back to Kate’s parents where friends & family had helped to create a garden party space complete with bar and tipi! It was a wonderfully relaxed day and I’m very much looking forward to photographing the bigger do soon.
