Bury Town Hall Wedding

Carragh & Simon’s wedding at Bury Town Hall & reception at The Clarence

I loved photographing Carragh & Simon’s small but wonderful wedding at Bury Town Hall, what a fabulous day! When Carragh & Simon unfortunately had to change their weddings plans due to covid, I offered them my micro wedding package with the amazing @hannahelizabethflowers & @evetannerprint (who smashed it again!) I’m so glad that Carragh & Simon finally had their incredible day and I had so much fun with them & their families. I hope the rest of your evening at The Clarence was great and enjoy your preview!

How did you two meet?: We met on Tinder and hit it off straight away. We met each other in person a couple of days later and have been inseparable since.

Describe the proposal!: This might be a strange proposals, Simon told me that my engagement ring was in the house and being the inpatient person I am, I couldn’t wait. On the 12th September 2019, there was a massive spider in the house (Simon is scared of spiders) and I made a bet with him that if I could get rid of the spider, he had to propose, you could probably guess the rest. He had planned to propose while we were on holiday a couple of weeks later.

What is special about your venue?: With everything that has been going on, we had realised that we just wanted to get married and our venues have allowed us to do this in a short space of time. The walk from the registry office to The Clarence has a statue for one of my favourite comedians, Victoria Wood as well as having amazing architecture and buildings either side.

Any details of note about your big day?: I have done customised pop vinyl of myself, Simon and our pup Tigger.”
