Nikki & Luke’s wedding in Yorkshire
It was great to see Nikki & Luke again for their wedding at The Red Lion, By The Bridge At Burnsall
Nikki, Luke and their dog Harley booked an engagement session with me a few months ago, before things got crazy busy, and I’ve been looking forward to their wedding day since.
Nikki was an absolutely stunning bride, such a beautiful person inside and out – Luke is a lucky guy. Of course Harley made an appearance for a few photos and stole the show, all the guests were happy to see him!
Burnsall village is so cute and has so many places for photos in walking distance from The Red Lion. We got plenty of great photos during our evening stroll.
Describe the proposal!: Luke proposed in the Lake District. He took me on a surprise trip with our dog for our 6 year anniversary. He’d booked a cottage that was on the grounds of a big estate where there was a lake & he took me on a walk one evening there and he’d set it all up with candles and proposed. Our dog ruined the moment by trying to get into the lake though!
What is special about your venue?: Our venue is the Red Lion in Burnsall which is somewhere we walk our dog Harley really often so it’s a special place because of that.
Any details of note about your big day?: We’ve made most of the decorations ourselves. Luke is pretty practical so I’ve kept him very busy over the past couple of months.
