I photographed Hayley & Joe’s wedding day at one of my favourite venues The Castlefield Rooms recently and it was such a lovely day to be a part of.

Hayley & Joe decided to have a first look outside King Street Townhouse on the morning of their wedding to ease their nerves. It was a lovely moment to photograph and I’m so glad that more couples are opting to have a first look at their weddings.

The Castlefield Rooms looked stunning as always, but I really loved the autumnal flowers and décor by Frog Flowers, Bon Fleur and Eclipse Florals. You can never have too many flowers.

Hayley & Joe’s little boy James was so well behaved all day and seemed to have a brilliant time, I’m glad I got plenty of photos of him and the three of you!

How did you two meet?: Joe spotted me pushing my dad’s car as a teenager, he was coming back from football with a mutual friend. We swapped numbers & started chatting

Describe the proposal!: On my 21st birthday, Joe popped the question during a meal at grill on the alley, it hugely caught me by surprise & I had wondered why he had been acting so strange. Mums, Dad’s & everyone else was in on it!

What is special about your venue?: It’s in a great setting in Castlefield, our friends had their wedding reception there & we loved the venue, especially the Brindley Room where we are getting married
