I’m absolutely loving being back close to the city centre!
There are so many unique and amazing wedding venues in Manchester. One of my most frequented, as you may have noticed, is The Castlefield Rooms which I love for its cool, industrial backdrop. Lots of red brick, cobbles and quirky places for photos I was back there again for Leah & Miranda’s wedding recently and what a day. These two were full of smiles (and the odd happy tear) – a joy to photograph.

Transport: Miranda’s transport is her dads 1960’s yellow mini which you will probably hear before you see it!
How did you two meet?: We met through a mutual friend on a night out.
Describe the proposal!: Leah spent weeks preparing for this. She printed out lots of Polaroid pictures of our favourite moments together, stuck them all in a beautiful book that told me a storey.in the end it read, will you do me the honour of… marrying me. Before I knew it she was on one knee in the living room!
What is special about your venue?: This was our first date. We met at lunch time, took a half says holiday from work and spent the afternoon eating food and drinking wine.
Any details of note about your big day?: We have made the wedding favours ourselves. These our homemade concrete pillar candles with ribbon of the sage and our names.
