Barden Tower Wedding

Naomi & David’s wedding at The Priest’s House, Barden Tower & reception at East Riddlesden Hall

Big congratulations to Mr & Mrs Cowen!

I recently photographed their wedding at the beautiful The Priests House & Old Chapel at Barden Tower. Such a stunning venue! Just up the road from Bolton Abbey, Barden Tower is perfect for intimate weddings.

It’s a venue with plenty of character & history plus amazing Yorkshire views!

️Naomi & Dave’s guest enjoyed a lovely cream tea after the ceremony there whilst we explored the grounds and found the most beautiful stone archway in a field of wild flowers. So dreamy! When I asked Naomi if she’d mind hopping the fence over, she already had her dress hitched up and shoes off before I could finish.

After the ceremony, Naomi & Dave whizzed off their wedding car (the exact same one that Naomi’s parents had on their wedding day!) to my fave East Riddlesden Hall for their reception.

East Riddlesden Hall was looking beautiful as always decorated with a romantic shabby chic theme and of course loads of pretty twinkly lights.

Later on Naomi & Dave’s pup Ralphie came to say hello! He was looking very handsome and photogenic as always!

Big thanks to Rebecca Tovey Photography for second shooting with me on this one. She was loads of fun and was straight up on that dancefloor!

I hope you enjoy your photos Mr & Mrs Cowen, I loved photographing your day!

The Old Priest’s House Wedding

A few words from Naomi & David about their wedding at The Old Priest’s House, Yorkshire:

”Describe the proposal!: The proposal happened at home, I came home to find an enormous box wrapped in roses in the front room. When I opened the box, a balloon popped out asking me to marry Dave, when I turned around Dave was down on one knee with the ring!

What is special about your venue?: The Priest House is a converted chapel, it is a beautiful building, small and intimate just up past Bolton Abbey.
The Reception venue is at East Riddlesden Hall which is a beautiful national trust barn with twinkly lights and exposed beams.

Any details of note about your big day?: Invitations, table décor, bunting all DIY
Vintage Shabby Chic theme – natural – ivory with dusty pink.”
