Olivia & Adam’s wedding at Manchester Hall
I’ve been loving photographing some more Manchester city centre weddings recently!
I’ve said it before, but I really enjoy city centre weddings. They can be challenging in terms of portraits (like when me, Liv & Adam had literally 2 mins for portraits on St Peter’s Square because the parking is terrible, and the wedding car couldn’t wait there long!) but I love those ‘just married and strolling through the streets’ shots so much.
I’m also obsessed with sneaking up on to the roof terrace at Manchester Hall for photos at golden hour.
Such a dreamy day with the loveliest of people. I was made to feel very welcome by everyone and had a great time photographing Liv & Adam’s day.
How did you two meet?: We met at Oxford University in a Science & Literature class, in 2014. We both studied English Literature and met in our final year.
Describe the proposal!: It was on a trip to Southern Spain, in Seville. We were on e-scooters around the city, and then as the sun was going down, I took Liv to the Plaza de Espana and proposed to her in an archway there
What is special about your venue?: Manchester is an important place for us – and the interior of the venue reminded us of our time at uni as it reminded us of libraries.
