Best Wedding florists in the North west
Here are some of my favourite wedding florists based in the North West that I’ve had the pleasure of working with in recent years. Listed in no particular order, I’ll explain a little about each florist’s style and where they are based. I absolutely love photographing weddings with plenty of fresh flowers & foliage! I hope this list helps you in your wedding planning journey!
Yorkshire Florists
From West Yorkshire to North Yorkshire and beyond! I’ve been luck to work with some bloomin’ lovely Yorkshire florists. I’m sure there’ll be more to add to the list soon so watch this space.
Pink Ginger Flowers
Sarah, the wonderful lady behind Pink Ginger Flowers, is an amazing florist based in Saltaire but also covers North & West Yorkshire. Sarah’s floristry style is super colourful which photographs beautifully! She specialises in bright and natural looking bouquets with a vintage twist. Lots of wildflowers and oversized bouquets which I absolutely love! She’s a top Yorkshire gal and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to any couple’s looking for a wedding florist.

Tweedle Floral Design
I worked with Tweedle Floral Design at Elaine & Ben’s micro-wedding in Huddersfield and I absolutely loved their work! If you’re looking for a wedding florist in West Yorkshire I would definitely recommend them. Their work is environmentally friendly and foam-free which I love! The owners, Erika & Sam are super friendly and top Yorkshire lasses. I would describe their floristry style as romantic with a quirky, vintage twist.

The Willow Garden
I’ve always loved The Willow Garden’s beautiful little florists in the centre of Hebden Bridge. They also however, specialise in wedding floristry for weddings in West Yorkshire and beyond! The Willow Garden create hand tied bouquets for weddings in an array of styles, but I would describe their work as wild, romantic and vintage. I think their flowers would suit a rustic inspired wedding perfectly.

Stems Designs
I worked with Stems Designs at the beginning of my wedding photography journey and I’ve loved their work ever since! Stems Designs often work at wedding venues in Yorkshire such as East Riddlesden Hall and Gibson Mill. Lynne, the owner, and her team are incredibly talented and fantastic at venue dressing as well as creating beautiful bouquets. Their work is natural and romantic which was perfect for this photo shoot we had together at Gibson Mill. The florals really gave the mill a whimsical and magical feeling. I’d definitely recommend Stems Designs if you are planning a Yorkshire wedding!

Since moving to South Manchester myself a couple of years ago, I’ve started to meet some more wonderful Manchester based florists! Here’s just a few of my favourites for now and I’m sure the list will grow bigger!
Hannah Elizabeth Flowers
Hannah is a Manchester based florist with a romantic and modern style. Hannah is a great friend of mine and an incredible florist! We met at a wedding at The Whitworth Gallery and since then have gone on to work at many weddings and photoshoots together. Hannah’s work is perfectly suited to chic city centre weddings, her work is incredibly creative and full of different textures. Hannah has also started to create beautiful, dried bouquets & wreaths which are stunning! You can keep these post-wedding as a keepsake of your day.

Blue Door Flowers
Blue Door Flowers are located a five-minute walk away from me in Heaton Moor! Their shop is the cutest and I often buy cards, gifts and the occasional house plant from there. They also provide flowers for all kinds of events including weddings. Blue Door Flowers produce work in a variety of styles to suit all weddings including classic, modern and quirky. Their flower stock is seasonal and always super fresh and incredible quality. They can also cater for smaller weddings and we have worked together at a few small weddings now!

One of the coolest florists in Manchester city centre has got to be Frog! Their style is modern, alternative and trendy. If you visit the city centre often, you will have seen some of their incredible floral installations at Alberts Schloss, The Ivy and Selfridges. They also provide floristry for Manchester weddings and it’s always a pleasure to work with them. If you choose Frog as your wedding florist you’ll definitely have some show-stopping florals at your wedding!

The Rose Boutique
I had the pleasure of meeting Sarah, owner of The Rose Boutique in Wigan, at Ashfield House. Sarah has over ten years’ experience in floristry and her work is beautiful! I would describe her work as classic and timeless. Sarah works often with Ashfield House and I’ve her create some stunning work there including centre pieces and decorating the beautiful staircase there with flowers. Chloe Robinson Designs is based in Altrincham Market but covers weddings all over the North West including Cheshire. Chloe has a background in interior design, this combined with her floristry experience means she is incredible at creating floral wedding décor such as archways and centre pieces. Her bridal bouquets are stunning too and have a very romantic feel to them - lots of foliage mixed with beautiful soft colours.
