Christina & Adam’s Manchester city centre wedding
I LOVE a Manchester city centre wedding!
Now that I’m living so close to Manchester city centre, it always feels like I’m working in a familiar setting when I photograph a wedding in the heart of the city.
This time I was lucky enough to photograph Christina & Adam’s wedding day at the fantastic Elliot House Manchester, right next to Gusto Restaurant who did all the amazing catering!
Situated just down Deansgate, Elliot House is in the perfect spot for a Manchester city centre wedding venue! The ceremony & reception room are beautifully light and full of character and I thoroughly enjoyed working at this Manchester wedding venue.
Christina & Adam’s pup Riley came along to say hello and stop for a few photographs – always love when dogs come along!
Once the rain cleared, we had a quick opportunity to head towards the library & St. Peter’s Square for some relaxed portraits. I love photographing weddings in Manchester city centre because there are endless photo opportunities and so many quirky backdrops & streets to use for photographs.
I absolutely loved working at Elliot House, Manchester and would highly recommend it if you are on the search for a quirky Manchester city centre wedding venue!
A few words from Christina & Adam about their wedding at Elliot House, Manchester:
”How did you two meet?: We met through mutual friends at a night club, Fifth Ave. It was an amazing club that we went to at least once a week for around a year. It was good back in the day anyway – we hear it’s gone downhill!
Describe the proposal!: We were on a weekend break in Prague. I hate fuss and being the centre of attention (probably not so much on the wedding day), so Adam proposed while we were at the Air BnB before we went out for the day. It was a lovely trip 🙂
What is special about your venue?: Elliot House is in the centre of Manchester so the surrounding area is definitely urban and interesting. We’re hoping for a few good photo opportunities with this! The building is beautiful and Gusto is providing the food so we’re hoping this will be tasty.
Any details of note about your big day?: We’ll be bringing our dog, Riley, to one of the places we have photos. She’s part of our family so want her to be involved.
We will be having a glitter bar and a casino set up. We also have a photo booth and DJ so the night should be lots of fun!”
