Jenny & Sean’s wedding in Bedale
I absolutely loved being a part of Jenny & Sean’s relaxed and intimate wedding day last month.
Jenny & Sean live in the most amazing Shepard’s Hut at High Parks Estate in Bedale. The also work at the estate, maintaining the beautiful grounds and renting out the lodges there. It was really special for Jenny & Sean to celebrate their wedding day at home and what a fantastic day it was! Lots of Scottish tradition sprinkled in from welly wanging to Iron Bru – Jenny & Sean’s families were so welcoming and me and my assistant Becki had such a fun day with you all.
Describe the proposal!: ‘Twas a radiantly idyllic day, Sean was sitting by the pond, called me over from where i was pottering about… he skirted around asking, to the point that i asked him what’s the matter, not suspecting… I said off course, naturally.
What is special about your venue?: It’s at our haven of a home; our happily ever after. To have our dearests here together’ll be a proper joy… creating more memories to cherish.
Any details of note about your big day?: All rather eclectic… Mum’s made reams of bunting. We’ll be gathering foliage & flowers from around the estate, for the tables & to adorn. The playlist’s being compiled by Sean. I’ve been collecting treasures & making bits to dot around. Halle, Sean’s daughter, who’s a dance instructor, is going to try & help us with the first-dance moves.
