Congratulations to Janine & Jack on their beautiful day at Holmfirth Vineyard. This was my first time photographing at Holmfirth Vineyard and I loved it. The backdrop of the rolling Yorkshire hills makes for beautiful photos and the venue itself is lovely and light. Janine & Jack had a small wedding with their nearest & dearest up at Holmfirth Vineyard including their puppy Jet who was the sweetest! A few words from Janine & Jack about their big day!:
How did you two meet?: On New Years Eve 2014 we were both out in Manchester celebrating. We were in Beirkeller on opposite ends of the the same table, but didn't meet. Then in Sugar Buddha (RIP) we ended up talking, and the rest is history.
Describe the proposal!: Jack organised a weekend away in the Lakes, our favourite place. We started walking up Helvellyn and half way up (I was feeling ill so it was clear we weren't going to reach the top) we stopped at a good view point. Jack suggested taking a picture like we had last year, me overlooking the landscape. So I turned away and started doing some awful poses and realised he was taking awhile. I turned around to see what he was doing and he was down on one knee holding a ring. There was quite a silent and I think I said yes before he even asked :') He also managed to smuggle up a small bottle of prosecco in his coat!
What is special about your venue?: The view! It's high up above the Yorkshire valley.
