Charlotte & Joel’s wedding
Last Saturday Charlotte & Joel got married at the beautiful Howsham Hall near York and it was a scorcher of a day! Howsham Hall is absolutely stunning, and I loved taking photographs here. All the rooms are at the hall are gorgeous, especially the humongous bridal suite! Huge thanks to baileyandmitchellphotography for all your hard work in second shooting on the day. ”Describe the proposal!: Joel came to visit on Boxing Day 2018 so we could see each other and exchange gifts – once I’d opened what I thought were all of my gifts he gave me another box. I started to open the box and there was a set of photos in there from the first year we were together and then another box, this carried on 3 times until I got to a smaller box which was the ring. Joel asked me to marry him, I cried, said yes, then we celebrated with my parents.
What is special about your venue?: We really wanted somewhere quite traditional but very private which is what first drew us to Howsham, as well as the fact that Dine owned it so we knew the food would be good! Then when we visited we fell in love with it, especially the bedrooms and the bridal suite!
