Vineta & Chris had a small wedding in Leeds city centre at the civic hall. Bridal prep took place at Vineta & Chris’ lovely, light flat where their beautiful cat made an appearance! It was lovely to work with Lauren Eden Makeup who made all the girls look gorgeous.
Vineta & Chris decided to have an emotional first look at Leeds Town Hall before walking to their ceremony together. After a short but sweet ceremony, we had photos outside the civic hall which is always a beautiful backdrop, and around the city before heading to The Crafthouse. At The Crafthouse, Vineta, Chris, and their guests had a private terrace to themselves for the rest of the day. I hope you all had a wonderful evening and enjoy your preview!

A few words from Vineta & Chris about their big day:

”How did you two meet?: On a work’s do at Leeds Building Society where we both used to work. There was a charity quiz night and different departments attended, someone from My team dropped out last minute and Chris (from a different department) was asked to join instead. Afterwards we both stayed out with my teammates and got to know each other. The next day Chris added Me on all social media and messaged for a date, we have been together since. We actually count that day as our anniversary.

Describe the proposal!: We were travelling around New Zealand in a camper van and I had the engagement ring and planned to ask on top of the glaciers, we took a helicopter ride up to the top of the mountain and I bottled it. Vineta noticed I was being odd but didn’t know why. Eventually we stopped by Lake Tekapo and I planned to ask after we sat looking at the star, unfortunately it was cloudy so we started to talk and Vineta started to ask where I would ask her to marry me in the future. So I tried to change the subject and talk about something else. Later that night I decided to ask by asking if she had enjoyed our adventure in New Zealand and if she wanted to go on another, as man and wife, I then reached back for the ring which I had put in my coat sleeve behind me but couldn’t find it, I started to rummage about desperately trying to find it whilst Vineta looked on confused. Finally I found it and presented it to Vineta whilst looking flustered to which thankfully she said Yes. Not the smoothest of proposals.

What is special about your venue?: Just a nice place to get our loved ones together for few hours to celebrate with us. Covid obviously has affected our plans significantly.
