Liv & Davey
Liv & Davey’s wedding was one of those days I truly felt a privilege to be a part of.
These two are another wonderful couple who had their wedding plans shaken a good few times due to covid, but last week they finally had their day. Throughout the pandemic, me and Liv have kept in touch on Instagram. By the time of their wedding, I already felt like we were old friends and the whole day was such a breeze (minor a small dramatic event where the dog fell into the pond, and I had to drag him out!)
Liv & Davey got married in a very special place Liv’s parent’s home and it was absolutely beautiful. The garden was decorated with so many personal and geeky touches and it looked magical all lit up with fairy lights! It was such a lovely, relaxed day full of pizza & dancing. I had such a great time and thank you so much for the lovely gifts Liv, you’re the best.
”What is special about your venue?: It's Liv's parents house so it's got great sentimental value. It's a converted Sunday school so there's lots of quirky features to the property. There's a big woodland at the back of the house which in summer is filled with bluebells. It's where we've made lots of fond memories like laying on the lawn and watching a meteor shower, lots of Christmases spent there together, and it's always been the venue for big celebrations such as Liv's 21st and Davey's 30th, and our engagement party.
Any details of note about your big day?: The theme is woodland since we're practically getting married in the woods. There will be lots of DIY décor on the table tops and surrounding.
Liv's dad has built a swing in the woods for the occasion which will make for some lovely photos (provided it doesn't rain!)
Liv's dog Arnie and her mum's dog Phoebe will be making an appearance on the day too (although not all day because they're very naughty!).
Davey is particularly pleased with his shoes and has had them for almost 3 years now.
We're really fond of our cake topper as well as, since we couldn't have our bunnies with us on the day, it's a nice reminder of them :)”
