Congratulations to Liv & Ryan for tying the knot (finally!). Liv & Ryan were in the year below me at high school, and I remember when they first started dating all those years ago. It was so lovely to be a part of their day and photograph their wedding after all these years.
Liv & Ryan got married at one of my favourite venues, Gibson Mill, which is tucked away surrounded by beautiful woodland in Hebden Bridge. They wanted a super chilled day and decided to do away with any wedding traditions which didn’t suit them. Liv & Ryan wanted a relaxed day with their closest family and friends and I think they absolutely smashed it.

How did you two meet?: In high school, a long time ago. We were 15 when we started going out with each other.
Describe the proposal!: In Central Park, New York! I kind of expected it at some point, but Ryan did it on the first day of the trip. I had no idea he’d bought a ring. We’d planned a picnic and he just asked!
What is special about your venue?: It’s rustic and has a proper country feel. We wanted something different and something we could put our own spin on which the mill is perfect for. It’s in the middle of the woods so we can’t wait to get some pictures out in nature!
Any details of note about your big day?: Most of the décor will be DIY, we’re going the day before to set up as much as we can. We’re having bottles with fairy lights, tea lights and flowers lining the aisle and at the end of the aisle we’re having a large hoop covered in flowers.
