Saltmarshe Hall is a stunning Georgian hall in the Yorkshire countryside. It was my first time photographing here for Hayley & Roo’s wedding and I loved it! Saltmarshe Hall has stunning gardens and plenty of beautiful features inside too for photographs.

Hayley & Roo had a relaxed day with their closest friends and family. Their wedding breakfast took place outdoors in the beautiful gardens and had a Friends theme which worked so well with all the beautiful colourful flowers from Willow and Bear. For their first dance, Hayley & Roo had the Friend’s theme song played by Four to the Floor who were brilliant and got everyone up on the dancefloor!

How did you two meet?: At York university 10 years ago, Roo was in the flat next door to me.

Describe the proposal!: We went to the Alpes in France snowboarding.
I’m not a confident snowboarder so on day 1 when I plucked up the courage to go on a ski lift half up the mountain.
Roo’s dad had hold of the ring as he wasn’t skiing.
Roo proposed to me on top of a mountain and we snowboarded down.

What is special about your venue?: I love all the flowers and gardens.

Any details of note about your big day?: Our theme is the friends TV show. We have designed a friends theme seating plan.
The first dance will be everyone dancing as well as us to the band. They will play the friends theme song and we will give our guest props for it (clappers)
