Hannah & Scott’s small wedding at The Venue, Bowers Mill
Huge congratulations to Hannah & Scott who tied the knot at The Venue, Bowers Mill in Barkisland. It was my first time photographing at The Venue, Bowers Mill and I love the rustic feel to this place so much! I’m very much looking forward to my next weddings here.
Hannah & Scott have had a bit of a whirlwind wedding planning experience! Ever-changing government guidelines meant that things were a bit touch and go for a while, but I’m so glad that these two finally got to have their special day with the people closest to them (and of course, Roger the dog!)

A few words from Hannah & Scott about their special day:
”How did you two meet?: On Tinder! I’d decided to go on a date every week for the year and write a blog. Scott was the first person I went on a date with (on New Year’s Eve morning) and my blog never got published.
Describe the proposal!: We decided to get married and booked the venue! After we’d booked the venue, one evening we were watching TV and I dropped my normal rings on the floor. I asked him to help me find them and then he was there on one knee with an engagement ring.
What is special about your venue?: The Venue in Barkisland is just beautiful! I love the outdoor space.
Any details of note about your big day?: Despite us only having 4 guests, this is our one and only wedding. We want to celebrate just the same as we would if were having 80 guests! Just want to capture the love and happiness to look back on even though lots of the extra details we might have had won’t be there.”
