I was back at The Woodman Inn recently for Deb & Rich’s beautiful wedding in the Yorkshire countryside.

The Woodman has its own purpose built bar and marquee for weddings now which I absolutely love. Attention to Detail venue dressing did a brilliant job of decorating the marquee and Deb’s flowers by Stems Design were stunning!

One of the things I love most about The Woodman is if you nip up the road, there are plenty of fields with beautiful views of the Yorkshire countryside for photos. Me and Debs & Rich went up the hill in the cutest VW Beetle for a few photos after their ceremony.

Big thank you to the staff at The Woodman who made sure I was fed well all day! Much appreciated. And thank you to Debs & Rich for having me as a part of their day.

“Maddie was our fantastic photographer for our beautiful day on 29.05.22.
She was amazing with us all the way through our postponement of our wedding to organising our new date with us.
Maddie was so calm and relaxed on the day, arriving with plenty of time to take lots of group shots of the bridesmaids and even prepped with a clear umbrella that we thankfully didn’t have to use!!
Our personal bride and groom photoshoot was one of our favourite parts of the day as we had time to just talk together and catch in with one another whilst Maddie captured our natural conversation.
We’re really looking forward to viewing all our photos and we know she will have captured all the special moments from our day beautifully! We can’t thank her enough for all her hard work.”

How did you two meet?: We both met an University Halls in Bodington Hall in Leeds. Rich wandered into my flat during freshers week, we got talking about gossip girl and the rest was history! It was love at first sight.

Describe the proposal!: We travelled to Northumberland where we visited Bamburgh castle on a very windy day in February! We were staying in Beadnell where Rich proposed in the room, we drank champagne and had dinner in the hotel with the dog with us too!

What is special about your venue?: Surrounded by nature, relaxed and chilled country atmosphere- and also dog friendly so we can visit again in the future!
