Charlotte & Gareth’s Anglesey Wedding
I first met Charlotte & Gareth a few years ago when I photographed Charlotte’s Dad’s wedding! It was lovely to see the whole family again and their friends. Anglesey is a place very special to Charlotte & Gareth. They have spent many holidays here together and it’s even where Gareth popped the question! So it makes perfect sense that these two chose Tros Yr Afon as their wedding venue.
Tros Yr Afon is a wedding venue in Anglesey featuring a beautiful manor house & fantastic courtyard which is perfect for the summer months! Tros Yr Afon is situated in a gorgeous location, closeby to Beaumaris & Penmon Beach.
We had some amazing weather on Charlotte & Gareth’s wedding day, which according to the lovely staff at Tros Yr Afon is typical in the summer months! Not like Manchester then!
Charlotte & Gareth chose to have a beautiful outdoor ceremony infront of the Tros Yr Afon manor house. During the ceremony, two of Charlotte & Gareth’s guests performed a special song for them which got everybody laughing (and there were a few emotional tears too!).
After the ceremony, all the guests headed to the courtyard for some welcome drinks I took a few group photographs. We all then headed to the marquee for speeches and a delicious hog roast. Charlotte & Gareth had a slight beach theme to their wedding – they handmade each of the place settings by gathering pebbles from beaches in Anglesey and painting them, doubling up as a little gift for each guest!
In the evening myself, Charlotte & Gareth drove to a beach nearby Penmon for a few photographs. We had some beautiful light! And I managed to capture some of the Welsh mountains in the photographs – I always love to try and capture some of the surroundings of the wedding day.
Tros Yr Afon is a dog friendly wedding venue in Anglesey, which means Charlotte & Gareth’s dog Betsy could come along – always a bonus!
