Huge congratulations to Michelle & Jhan who got married at Victoria Warehouse in Manchester – a very cool venue for a very cool couple. Michelle & Jhan met a long time ago (way back when they were 12!) and it was so lovely to see them tie the knot in front of their nearest and dearest. Of course Scout the dog had to be there as well! He did a brilliant job as ring bearer and just generally being cute all day.
Michelle & Jhan wanted their wedding to be a chilled day without any stuffy traditions and I think they absolutely smashed it. Thanks for having me there, it was a blast!
How did you two meet?: On a park…. In High Crompton… when we were 12!
Describe the proposal!: It was on April Fools and involved the ring in a poo bag! Jhan burst through the doors exclaiming our dog, Scout, had done a bizarre poo…. Then he presented me with the ring after much flabbergasted laughing!
What is special about your venue?: It feels like ‘us’. It’s close to home. Casual. No fuss. Not traditional.
Any details of note about your big day?: We have bottles filled with fake flowers that we’ve made ourselves. We’re going to put up ‘foil curtains’ for people to use as a backdrop for Polaroid pictures. Our first dance is Weezer – Buddy Holly. We’ve done it as a bit of a joke. We didn’t want a soppy love song and we can dance silly to it. There is a ‘Box Office’ outside that we love the look of and would definitely want a picture of at least the both of us in front of it!

She got every single detail in and managed us all perfectly. I could not recommend her enough. Everyone that has seen the photos so far have expressed how much she captured the day in all its glory.
