I absolutely loved photographing Laura & Josh’s intimate wedding at Wood Lane Countryside Centre.
Wood Lane Sheffield is a lovely quirky wedding venue just outside of Sheffield city centre. Wood Lane Countryside Centre do a lot of work to help protect local wildlife through their nature conservation work.
I’ve seen a lot of couples this year opt for village hall & community centre type wedding venues. I would highly recommend researching these kind of venues in your area if you are wedding planning as they can be surprisingly affordable, have tons of charm, provide flexibility for your own catering & other suppliers plus a lot of them, like Wood Lane Countryside Centre, support a local cause!
Laura & Josh had an autumnal theme to their wedding day featuring many huge pumpkins! Plus a few nerdy touches here and there with Harry Potter & Game of Throne themed centre pieces.
Laura’s amazing Mum Carol made all the flowers including Laura’s spectacular bouquet – possibly the biggest I’ve seen this year!
I can’t not mention the most incredible car! The Ford Skyliner that drove Laura to Wood Lane is from 1958 and even has its own built in record player!
