Fielden Hall Todmorden Wedding
Congratulations to Katie & Matt who had a lovely, intimate wedding at Fielden Hall in Todmorden last week. I absolutely love this little gem of a venue! It’s got stunning windows inside, beautiful Tod Park on its doorstep, and it’s perfect for couples who are looking for a flexible, DIY wedding venue.
The flowers by The Yorkshire Flower Patch were stunning (and I believe grown by the florist too!) and the food by Hebden Craft Catering was excellent.
The Tartan Trio joined in the late afternoon for some ceilidh dancing which was great fun but very tiring from the looks of it!

How did you two meet?: We met on a Halloween Gaming Society pub crawl at university. I struck up conversation because I really liked Matts costume
(turns out he made it himself!) and we ended up spending the entire evening together.
Describe the proposal!: It had been sunny all week and we planned to go for a bike ride and picnic at Chorlton Water Park. We set up at the edge of
the lake, relaxed a while, before he says my name. I turn to him and he asks me to be his wife.
What is special about your venue?: I ( Kate) had grown up in Todmorden and had always dreamed of getting married in the area. We looked at a couple of
venues and they didn't fit the small intimate wedding we had imagined; until my mum suggested Fielden Hall. I had been to
the hall numerous times over the years and always thought it was a beautiful building, but never realised they hosted
weddings; we had a look round and just fell in love!
